Being on mountain time is a state of mind. Just like hiking to the summit all great achievements in life require being prepared, access to resources, overcoming challenges and maintaining focus. The reward is hopefully the view from the top, looking out and admiring on the world around us.
You don’t have to be in a mountain region or time zone to apply this mentality and practice to your goals and aspirations. Originally from Fremantle, Western Australia, Alicia arrived in Colorado via the Amtrak California Zephyr train with a back pack and sense of adventure ( & literally about $100 eek).
Over the past 17 years Alicia has worked in the resort travel, outdoor, leisure and tourism industry gaining extensive experience and networks in luxury hospitality management & operations, business development, logistics, project management, event management, non-profit, leadership, strategic planning, community management, finance & most recently local governance.
Having traveled the world, Alicia knew the mountains were home as it was the only place she ever really missed. Now married to the ultimate mountain man (who can give a perfect tutorial on how to pack a car/truck for camping and provides for the family with his archery and gardening skills) and passing on the mountain life to their daughter Tillie & doggo Denali, Alicia is ready to help others live their best mountain lives.
